The problems we are usually asked to solve

Investors back stories, but they fund numbers. Most founders lose momentum not because the business is weak, but because the financial case cannot answer a basic question quickly: what do you need, what will you do with it and what does it return? We build that case, and we prepare you for what happens after the pitch.

01

You do not know how much to raise

Too little means a second raise in twelve months. Too much means unnecessary dilution.

How we fix itWe model your funding requirement under base and downside cases and size the round to your milestones.

02

Your numbers collapse under investor questions

A fragile model or inconsistent accounts costs credibility in the first meeting.

How we fix itWe build an integrated model and reconcile it to your accounts before any investor sees it.

03

The process is swallowing the business

Running a raise on top of running a company leaves both suffering.

How we fix itWe manage the financial workstreams, from model to data room to Q&A, so you can keep trading.

04

The term sheet is full of unfamiliar terms

Liquidation preferences, anti-dilution and option pool top-ups shift value more than headline valuation.

How we fix itWe model the economics of each clause on your cap table so you negotiate knowing the real cost.

Questions we are often asked

Will you introduce me to investors?

We work with appropriately authorised partners where an introduction or investor promotion is a regulated activity. Our own role is to make your financial case investor-ready and support the process.

When should I start preparing?

Ideally three to six months before you want to close. Clean accounts, a reliable model and an organised data room take time to put in place.

Do you act for the investor or the company?

We act for the company or founders, unless we agree otherwise in writing, and we are clear about this at the start.

Tell us what is on your mind. We will tell you honestly how we can help.
