What we collect

When you submit an enquiry form we collect your name, email address, company (if given), location, the service you are interested in, the page you were on and your message. If you email us we keep that correspondence. Our web server may record standard technical data such as IP address and browser type in logs for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, assess whether and how we can help, and meet our legal and professional obligations, including client due diligence if you become a client. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, once you engage us, performing our contract with you and complying with legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We may share it with service providers who support our website and email and, with your agreement, with other professional advisers we coordinate with. They act on our instructions. Where data is transferred outside the UK or EEA we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are normally deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept for the periods required by law and professional rules.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your personal data, to object to processing and to data portability. Email enquiries@valumise.co.uk to exercise them. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
