The problems we are usually asked to solve

Many groups are built by accident: a new company for each idea, property in the wrong place, family members added without much thought. A deliberate structure ring-fences risk, moves cash efficiently and makes a future sale far simpler. Retrofitting it is possible, but cheaper if you plan it early.

01

One problem could threaten everything

Property, intellectual property and trading risk sit in the same company.

How we fix itWe separate risk by placing assets and operations in appropriate entities.

02

Cash is stuck in the wrong company

Profits in one subsidiary cannot easily fund another, or reach you personally.

How we fix itWe design intra-group flows and dividend routes that are tax-efficient and compliant.

03

A buyer wants just one subsidiary

An untidy group makes carving out a single business complicated and expensive.

How we fix itWe prepare the group for sale, using reorganisations and reliefs where available.

04

Family and succession are unclear

Ownership and control are unplanned, so a change in family circumstances creates tax and control problems.

How we fix itWe plan share ownership and succession with specialist legal and tax input.

Questions we are often asked

Do I need a holding company?

Not always. They help most where you have several trading entities, investment assets alongside a trade, or a future sale in mind. We assess whether it adds value in your case.

Will restructuring trigger tax?

It can if done badly. Many reorganisations can be carried out tax-neutrally with the right route and clearances, which is why planning matters.

Can you manage all the group entities afterwards?

Yes. We provide group accounting, consolidation and compliance across all the entities.

Tell us what is on your mind. We will tell you honestly how we can help.
